Day #11, A rainy start with a happy ending--miles hiked: 18.6

We woke up to a very soggy trail this morning. I don't have many pictures because I wanted to keep my phone out of the rain, but I guarantee it was wet.

After 17 miles of rock hopping and falling in mud puddles, the clouds cleared and we stopped by a well-known hiker restaurant called "Whistle Stop." After yummy food and ice cream, we think we can make it one more mile to the Clarendon Shelter.
